1. Mệnh đề
Independent clause (IC): mệnh đề độc lập: S+ V+ O
Dependent clause (DC): mệnh đề phụ thuộc: Subordinator + S + V + O
2. Types of Sentences
Simple sentences: 1 IC.
Compound sentense: >= 2 IC.
- Cách 1: IC, coordinator IC.
- Cách 2: IC, conjunctive adverb, IC.
- Cách 3: IC ; IC. (= IC, and IC.)
Complex sentence: >=1(IC + DC).
Compound - complex sentences: >=(2IC + DC).
